Here's how powerful prayer is:
We were slated for all exteriors today, with one of the scenes being a pivotal one from the climax of the film. We needed clear skies, but the forecast was dire. So we put out the call, and God's people petitioned Him on our behalf. God was gracious to us and, despite all signs to the contrary, not only did a rainstorm only form and pass over during our lunch break in between scenes but the rain itself was minimal in comparison to what it could've been. Had a downpour occurred, our crew would've been stuck under a bridge with little shelter.
Thank you to all those who having been praying for our production! We get to be inside tomorrow, but we have another pivotal exterior scene to shoot on Wednesday and once again there's rain in the forecast. We covet your continued prayers for clear skies and smooth filming!

Our major scene of the day took place on an iconic pedestrian bridge here in Nashville, and the rainstorm moved away just in time to get some incredible scenery with the setting sun. Here's a quick frame grab from the scene we shot with two of our new characters:
